Danny Murphy, MD of LWP Property Group

Danny Murphy,
Managing Director

Danny has over 25 years’ experience in Australia’s urban development industry. Formerly General Manager (Operations) with Delfin, one of Australia’s largest land development companies, he moved to Western Australia in 1992.

Following a period as Managing Director of the Japanese-owned Sanwa Property Group, he formed LWP in 2000.

Danny is a member of a number of boards, including Ellenbrook Cultural Foundation

Alan joined the group in 1996 and is responsible for the management of all corporate, financial and administrative related matters of the company and the projects under its direct management.

Alan has extensive experience in government joint ventures having been for a period of 11 years the appointed project accountant / company secretary for the Ellenbrook Joint Venture.

Alan has a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is a Member of Australian Society Certified Practicing Accountants and also a Member of Company Secretaries Australia.

After a 16 year career in State and Local Government, Phil joined the group in 1997. Phil has managed the development of a variety of projects for LWP, including masterplanned communities and boutique lifestyle developments.

Phil has an excellent understanding of the approvals process and an ability to find innovative solutions to meet the needs of government agencies.

Heather Awcock, Group Manager Marketing & Sustainability LWP Property Group

Heather joined LWP in 1998.  Initially responsible for the marketing of LWP’s flagship project, Ellenbrook, Heather’s role has developed with the group to encompass responsibility for marketing of all projects together with the communication strategy for the group. 

Her passion for sustainable living has seen this discipline added to her portfolio of responsibility, which includes research and management of the sustainability reporting process for the group and individual projects.

Heather is a past board member of the Swan Valley Tourism Council, Swan Valley Marketing Group and is currently a board member of Ellenbrook Arts.

Peter Gleeson, General Manager Sales & Business Development LWP Property Group

Peter Gleeson, General Manager Sales & Business Development

 

Peter has over 20 years experience in real estate incorporating sales, leasing and property management. Involvement in this sector included a directorship of a national company and establishment of a Perth based real estate practice.

Peter has an Associate Diploma in Valuation and a Bachelor of Business degree in Valuation and Land Administration. He is an Associate of the Australian Property Institute and a Member of the Real Estate Institute of Western Australia.

Peter joined LWP in 2003 and has been the licensee during his time with the company (REBA Triennial Certificate TC 2817).

Peter’s  community involvement includes appointment to the executive of Torchbearers for Legacy and election as  a State President of the organisation.

Tony joined LWP in 2006 and has gained a broad experience across a number of our developments.

Previously employed by City of Swan as their Community Development Officer at Ellenbrook, he has a sound understanding of community issues and generation.
