Community Events at Trinity

Based on similar principles to those found in traditional European market towns, Trinity has been carefully planned as a place for people. At the heart of the community is a piazza which will be home to regular street markets.

Street markets are not only a great way of shopping; they’re also a vital part of community life in many towns. Always vibrant and colourful, they’re the perfect opportunity to wander with old friends and get to know new ones. The regular, quality-controlled markets planned for the centre of Trinity will create a community focal point from a blend of age-old tradition with contemporary urban life.

LWP’s Byford development is already running a hugely successful monthly Arts & Produce market and a specialist market coordinator is working hard to ensure we have the same quality markets established here at Trinity.

Next market will be held 25 February 2012 4pm to 9pm.

Trinity Arts & Produce Market is designed to bring together an array of organically grown foods, original handmade arts and crafts, together with local artisan’s from around Perth and predominantly the local area. In addition the markets will have live entertainment, children’s activities and quality food stalls. The kids activities will include free entertainment and a free art workshop for young people organised by AWESOME Arts, as part of its partnership with LWP Property Group. A YMCA partnership is currently being finalised which will allow further community based activities.

The market idea is absolutely fundamental to the kind of community LWP Property Group is trying to create at Trinity. Markets will really be the first opportunity for people who have bought land at Trinity or who live in nearby areas to experience what Trinity is all about and not to mention a great way to get to know your soon to be neighbours and create a safer community.

Trinity markets will have strict quality-control, making sure visitors get the opportunity to purchase quality products and fresh produce, and that means ensuring all stall holders meet a high standard.

The Trinity Arts & Produce Market is set to become a regular event, creating a focal point for the new community.

The new park has been specifically designed to accommodate the Trinity Markets. The space will accommodate up to 50 market stalls and comes complete with strategically placed power points, specific shade structure and terracing for a stage and entertainment space.

If you would like information about becoming a stall holder at the Trinity Arts & Produce markets, you can contact Mandi at trinitymarkets@gmail.com or call Mandi on 0409 115 880. The following market is planned for the 5th of May 2012.

As one of LWP Property Group’s key objectives, we strive to create communities, and have activities in place
for the early years of the project. Our market days have already been well received and with residents now
starting to move into Trinity, LWP have created a strategic alliance with the YMCA to help create a framework
for the Community Development within Trinity, and deliver community based programs and activities for
Trinity’s Residents.
