Opticomm, the network provider at Trinity will use this ‘open access’ model to offer residents choice of internet provider to best meet their needs. Some providers are already offering telephone calls that are free to any landline in Australia, and Pay TV channels delivered via the internet (IPTV).
The open access nature of the network at Trinity gives the residents choice, as well as the capacity to access new technologies as they become available from different service providers.
Trinity will also have wireless hotspots providing free email and internet access in several parks and cafes.
