About Us

Located on Main Street in the town centre, Ellenbrook Arts is in the heart of Ellenbrook.  We aim to assist with the development of an arts based culture and help sustain a healthy and cohesive community by delivering high quality, engaging arts experiences across a range of art forms to the Ellenbrook community.

We do this by curating an annual programme of professional and community based arts activities, exhibitions and events.  Programmes include the annual Winter Fire Festival, Ellenbrook Festival, exhibitions of work from professional and community based artists, an artist-in residence programme, community workshops, writing and events based around theatre, music and performance.  We are especially keen to work on projects with children, young people and families.

We operate two facilities to help us do this: Ellenbrook Gallery, in the town centre; and the Grapevine Community Arts Space in Charlotte’s Vineyard.

Ellenbrook Arts, formerly the Ellenbrook Cultural Foundation, was established in 2002, as a community based, not for profit association with tax deductible status.  We are managed by a Board and have three part time staff members, occasional art project staff and a group of dedicated volunteers.
